One of the biggest attractions that locals, as well as tourists, can keep visiting and never get tired of is Genting Highlands. The locals, especially those who are from the neighboring metropolitan areas like Kuala Lumpur, make it a point to break away from the drudgery of corporate office grind and have a fun weekend with their family. Tourists may not be able to enjoy the entirety of what Genting Highlands has to offer, considering that it would take days to actually take the time to enjoy each attraction, but at least they’ll have a reason to go back some other time.
Going to Genting isn’t a hassle. It’s a mere one hour drive from Kuala Lumpur. Locals who own a car can easily get there without a hitch. Tourists can opt to rent a car, but if they choose to travel by bus to Genting, they’d be able to connect with other tourists or locals. It adds another layer of excitement and experience to their travel.
The attractions in Genting Highlands are generally meant for all ages. Obviously, there are some that are meant for a specific age demographic. Casino de Genting, for example, is targeted to an older audience. The golf and country resort is also something that has predominantly adult customers. But unlike playing in a casino, children can also participate in casual golf matches if they wish to.
But for the most part, Genting Highlands have attractions that are for the entire family. Snow world, a contrast to Malaysia’s hot climate, is one example of this. And then there’s the famous indoor theme park and video games park that, depending on the guests, can take up hours of visiting time just because of how much fun the place can offer for children and adult members of the family alike.
